9" Persian Fighter, Acanthus Cast Bronze Guard, Acanthus Carved African Blackwood Handle. This blade has some interesting history and was created at a few different points in time for me. The blade was forged when I lived in Brooklyn and it was an alternate for my JS Set that I didn’t end up needing. It sat for some time, and then I used it to learn how to do lost wax casting in graduate school in Carbondale, Illinois. Then it again, sat for a few years. Then here in istanbul, I carved and completed the handle. Acanthus based imagery throughout.
